Interurban Trail

The Springfield Park District's Interurban Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail is a 7 mile recreational trail which begins at the corner of Wabash Avenue and MacArther Blvd. The trail proceeds in a southerly direction following the abandoned Interurban Railroad Right-of-Way to the town of Chatham. The asphalt surface trail is open year-round to bicycles, skating, jogging, and hiking.
