Lincoln Family Pew

Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, like many of their neighbors, maintained a family pew in their place of worship. You may view it, and seven beautiful Tiffany windows, in the First Presbyterian Church, which is in downtown Springfield.

Docent guided tours, which include information about the Louis Comfort Tiffany Windows and the Lincoln Family's relationship to First Church, are offered Mondays through Thursdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM — and on Fridays between 10:00 AM and Noon — from June through September. Tours are not available on the Fourth of July or Labor Day. During the regular tour season, enter through the two arched red doors on Seventh Street.

Tours may be arranged at other times upon request.
