Spring will soon be here and that means it's time for Lincoln Memorial Garden's annual pancake and sausage breakfast. Bring your family and friends and celebrate the new season with us. You can even come twice if you like - March 19th and 20th or March 26th and 27th. The traditional menu includes golden brown pancakes, fresh pork sausage and the world's best maple syrup made from the Garden's own sugar maples. You can also bid on our silent auction at the same time.
Before or after breakfast you can browse the Split Rail Shop and bid on a wide variety of donated items as part of the Garden's 14th annual Silent Auction. Proceeds of the auction will benefit Garden operations. It's fun and it's easy to bid! Items will be available to bid on both weekends so you have the opportunity to check back to see if anyone has topped your bid.
In case you want to burn off some of those extra calories after downing a couple stacks of flapjacks, take a walk through the Garden and search for signs of spring. Maybe you can find some of the first spring wildflowers poking through the leaves. There's no better way to welcome spring.
The cost for the breakfast is only $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12. Reservations are required and spots fill up early, so call 529-1111 to reserve your place now. |
